Three Account Rule Questions

Post by Bionic Buddha »

I have three accounts started on my ip that I use myself, and I have a friend who started her account at her house on her ip and we want to play together at my place.

Is it kosher for me to have all three of my accounts active at once and have her playing all on my ip?

If I only play two of my accounts and she plays her one account all on my ip is that kosher?

Or is having her account signed in on my IP illegal because it pushes me over my three account limit?

Thanks.

What do you mean by kosher? What I would do is talk to Derrick personally. If it is actually your friend and you aren't making it up I'm sure he'd let you both play at the same time. But I don't know you'd have to ask him.

I think this is alright. I have had my friends come over and play at my house for a long time, and never heard anything about it.

Every player is allowed their own 3 accounts, your friend can play on your IP with no problem however might have problems creating additional accounts. Also keep in mind that there is a 4 client connection limit on a single IP.
