Energy Field:

Here is some evidence to support some of the claims here that energy field did in fact damage targets in a specific situation.

Attacking: When in war mode, double clicking on someone who is not already attacking you (and pressing OK to noto query if applicable). Casting a harmful spell: Clumsy, Feeblemind, Magic Arrow, Weaken, Harm, Fireball, Poison, Curse, Lightning, Mana Drain, Mind Blast, Paralyze, Energy Bolt, Explosion, Chain Lighting, Mana Vampire, Flame Strike, Meteor Swarm. Or by casting area fields directly on such as: Fire Field, Poison Field, Paralyze Field, Mass Curse, or Energy Field (you can get damaged by an energy field, if you manage to step on the top of it.. can be done with height tricks.). Or having a magic hireling attack such as Blade Spirit, or Energy Vortex.

This was commonly used as a bug to gain magic resist inside of small towers when casted under the ladder stairs soon as the UOR publish hit. This same bug was possible when walking on top of blade spirits too. However, the bladespirit was fixed inside of this server's time frame making it invalid for accuracy.

Note: Walking over doesn't mean pushing through either.

nice find. i can see why this would work. i have brought up the blade spirit resist bug before, but i was unaware of this one involving energy fields.. id love to see this here.

Energy field used to damage ajacent tiles, but they changed it to act more like a longer duration wall of stone.

I used to gain resist using E field all the time.

I never received damage from E Fields and used to wonder as to why this was. Would be nice if they would change it.
