"PvP etiquette"

Post by vistal »

Today on my thief i got the most amusing lecture about "pvp etiquette." Apparently it is impolite to use DP/potions/stealing/guard zones in a fight. Here's the deal: You're trying to kill me, I'm trying to kill you. Whatever works, works.

Those of you who like rules in pvp (dueling) keep it in a tower and don't expect it on the field. There's nothing polite about field fighting, and that's what has always made UO great.

Any screenshots/journal logs?
Would have been fun to read.

There used to be a program that when you ran it with UO, took your journal and put it in a .txt file.
I forgot what its called.
It was required for all Counselors back in the day.

UO Journal Converter

UO Journal Converter allows you to keep a long term, well structured and easy to read (HTML) record of your journals from Ultima Online.
When you play with fire, there is a 50/50 chance something will go wrong, and nine times out of ten it does.
