how do you rename a pet

I know I know Newbie quesiton.. But I cannot seem to rename any of my pets... how does one do it please...

I thnk you just click the name on its health bar, erase, and retype.

That's exactly how you do it. But I don't think it works on the bar you get when you double-click the pet (if its not mountable). You need to drag it off. That's how it was on AI anyway.
