Re: Need help with stealing also need a rune to deceit will pay.
A guarding packhorse should work.. attempt to steal, and if its a success replace the bag on the packhorse.. Another more complicated way to try this is for a 2nd account to be on with ownership of a packhorse, and have the container you are stealing set in their scavenging agent in Razor.. so you s...

Re: Need help with stealing also need a rune to deceit will pay.
I raised stealing by placing bandages in a container until the weight of the container was approximately equal to my stealing skill divided by 10. At 32 stealing, you should be attempting to steal a container that weighs 3 stones, and should up the weight to 4 stones at >35 stealing skill. This form...

Re: The Wolfpack killshot thread.
You two have tried to gank my archer-mage unsuccessfully on multiple occasions.. guess it really does require being a mid-range dexxer or afker ;P.. as a matter of fact I recall an occasion in the ice fiend room where I alt-tabbed back to find my toon @ 4% hp.. and still escaped ;) As for gating int...

Re: mage/acher or tank mage
Why is archery setup that way? A weapon is a weapon. Is that era specific? Or is it because of the really low dex that causes the problem? But, shouldn't the really low dex cause an issue with hally too? Reason I ask is because it doesn't quite seem right to me that archery gets the boot like that....

Re: Stealing: murder counts
I've been attacked after flagging grey (stealing & being noticed and stealing & failing), and have retaliated.. killing the target, and did not receive a murder count.. additionally the targets have always appeared grey to me once they begin attacking.. not blue as these posts led me to beli...

Re: mage/acher or tank mage
For PvP not really.. tankmage is number one.. its just a matter of which weapon skill you go with. A good dexxer is scary too, but with the latest updates to healing/combat they are becoming less scary ;) Another fun template in open-field PvP is a thug-thief (ala chumbucket).. but I think this temp...

Re: mage/acher or tank mage
I think you might have been better off asking this in the discussion section, but I'll answer it for you. My main character is an archer/mage, and while it is a lot of fun for the initial dump (explosion, pre-cast eb, hvy xbow shot, cast eb) the weapon timers for archery SUCK ... The basic problem i...

Re: Stealing: murder counts
I'm pretty sure my thug-thief can indeed steal while in combat.. and has been able to fight back and kill many folks that attacked me immediately after stealing from them. This thread suggests that if you steal from someone and they attack you within 2 minutes of the theft, if you fight back and kil...

As much as I like the chumbucket-esque Thug thief.. are these changes going to be implemented any time soon?

So Dex no longer affects the penalty for finger slipping also.. correct? Gonna be interesting to see how strong the penalty is.

Re: Wanting a T hunter guide carto guide from 50-100 please..
I've been macroing carto lately.. its hard to do though because a blank map doesn't have a different item name in Razor than a used map. Basically my macro involves hanging out next to a vendor that sells blank maps.. making sure they are starting off with a few hundred in stock, buying 123 of them ...

I just attempted to steal from someone in the front room of the vesper bank. The town crier Kasia called the guards on me by seeing me through a wall with no windows..

Re: Is fencing an option at this time?
From experience in the new patch, hvy xbows are pretty worthless in open field pvp aside from the first shot like you described, or as a finisher if you time your wep swap to a point after your fast wep timer has refreshed.. otherwise you'll be stuck waiting for 8 seconds. I've got an archer-mage at...
