Re: Events...Accuracy vs. Policy

Umm, not even close son... because his post was actually read and not once did I tell him that he didn't say it was era accurate this time around. I was simply reiterating my same past comments about how this entire thread was about him using era accuracy as an argument from the start and nothing m...

Re: Is fencing nerfed on this shard?

Fencing is arguably the best dexer weapon skill. Awhile back they made the kryss the fastest weapon in the game, I don't remember the kryss being more popular then a katana for townies on OSI but oh well. But for a tank mage anything but a hally mage puts you at a disadvantage.

Re: Events...Accuracy vs. Policy

haha, I'm trying to justify the current events that I dislike? No, I'm trying to knock some damn sense into someone that is trying to use era accuracy as an their key argument against something that isn't related to mechanical accuracy... PLEASE EXPLAIN TO ME HOW YOU CAN MAKE ALL THE EVENTS T...

Re: Events...Accuracy vs. Policy

doesnt matter how many times everyone spins in this same circle mechanical (code) accuracy and any kind of event arent really part of the same argument. t2aeyeness is a more of an appropriate talking point than actual accurate code. Having more t2aeyey type events isntead of the everyone turns neon...

Re: EVENTS GETTING CUT OUT

You are completely right. Players who don't participate in the actual Ultima world are completely expendable from the server, and are more or less the "trammel" players of OSI. Except events are even worse than trammel in the fact they are 100% grief proof. If you don't enjoy playing Ulti...

Re: Events...Accuracy vs. Policy

A gold sink is a a system where gold is removed from the game. Transferring gold between players does not accomplish this. An example of a gold sink is housing that decays. Gold is spent on a house deed, it decays, gold is removed. thanks for not being a spaz about it Ok I used the terminology &quo...

Re: Events...Accuracy vs. Policy

And I do agree that losing all events and the eye sore gold sinks such as blessed colored masks and sandals at this point, after being implemented so long, would be detrimental to the population of this shard. the silver system and turn in rewards are not a gold sink. Good explanation, way to add t...

Re: Events...Accuracy vs. Policy

1.) I already acknowledged that events are popular, and thus it can be assumed that for this reason they will be around for awhile. Not sure how we can be anymore clear on this. IT's often thrown around that UOSA makes decisions not based on popularity, but on era-accuracy, so you can see how peopl...

Is your bank box closing an unintentional effect from the paperdoll meditation thing being put in? I do not remember this.

I have to agree with this, I never remember killing balrons with 1 ev. Not sure if the poison itself is the culprit or the fact that the mobs rarely cure themselves.

I was talking about OSI.... And if this damage modifier is from the demo, how is it that people were gming resist in town in the early part of t2a, while doing no damage to themselves in the process?

Re: Patch 130 - May 21, 2010: "a big patch of small goodies?

[*]Magic Resist gains are now based partially on damage, in addition to the circle of the spell. This means you cannot gain into high levels of resist while taking minimal damage. ( thread ) Did they put the damage modifier in the code in a patch to stop people from macroing resist in town? I remem...
