Re: Mage build--no armor vs leather?
Yeah, any sort of armor will slow down your mana regen speed. I roll 0 armor on all my mages (or only clothes). Also, I assume that is a PvM bard, and as such, I'd strongly recomend wrestling over hiding, as it is a skill that might help you more to get out of sticky situations. Couldn't have said ...

Re: Why so much love for the T2A ruleset on freeshards?
While I understand this is purely just a discussion of people's opinions, let me share my own... I fail to see how UO in it's current state (OSI) is broken. Maybe we view it as that, or maybe some view AoS as the dead-end, and others UOR, but the simple fact of the matter is people still pay to play...

Re: Guide: GMing Meditation Liquor Style (Cheap & < 24 Hours
Update regarding my experience: * Takes way more than 24hrs (perhaps a solid week) * Confirmation that mana>=25 results in "inebriation is not conducive to meditation" much of the time I am currently at 99.4 and have bumped X up to 30 again to see if that helps. I'm not sure how it would ...

My understanding is that a failed fishing check once you go past 80 (Is it 80?) skill is what draws a sea serpent to the surface and you are fishing in deep sea. I have never tested it myself extensively.

Whoever considers the trash barrel to be history as a quick and easy way to get through the table barrier.... On your table wall, place a secure container (I use a medium crate) that sits on top the table next to the trash barrel. This cannot be opened or looked in by anyone but Friends, Co-Owners, ...

Re: Is there anyway to prevent Multiclient greyscreen razor
I can also confirm that running Razor in Compatibility Mode for Windows XP (SP2 or SP3 doesn't seem to make a difference) fixes this. I was plagued by this same issue for a long time until I did that. I haven't seen it since.

Re: Skill Gain Rate
It is skill independent.
The only ease-of-skill gains that are present are artificially created by the order in which you train. Example: Obviously it is easier to GM magery after you GM meditation than it would be to GM magery with 0 meditation.

Hello, 1) Unfortunately there is no real method of seeing statistics without looking up something online. With Item Identification you can ID magic items and then using the prefix and suffix of the item determine what special stats or modifiers it has. For base statistics and other useful informatio...

Re: Guide: GMing Meditation Liquor Style (Cheap & < 24 Hours
I apologize Randale I thought you were confused as to why I had put that there. That's my fault. Sorry. To answer your question: I wouldn't say there's actually any "mid-points" but I will say this. I have left my macro on overnight where I couldn't change X, and it still gave me gains pas...

I had to elevate my laptop then place a frozen ice pack beneath it just to keep it from overheating.... for more playing.

Awesome! Yeah that is a pretty cheap rate for GM. Also makes macroing Magery (or Inscription) 10x easier now. Good luck!Byokii wrote:Just used this method to go from 30-gm in 4 nights. Thanks!
Prob cost me like 700 gold total, thats freaking bad-ass for a gm skill.

Q: Why go through all this trouble? Just use a full suit of plate or a studded tunic! In case you're wondering. You can not meditate at all in full plate. It will always fail, you'll get a message saying that you can't meditate (paraphrased here, that's what it means) And, the fact that your ...
