Again got nothing to do what we are talking about but I take that all as compliments anyway so thanks.
Yep, delusional.

It has everything to do with the discussion at hand. Just because you presented a discussion you had no intention of maintaining due to the real motive being to call out Blackfoot, does not mean it's not part of the discussion.

If anything, I wish you'd get back to the discussion you started, or start a new topic with a real title and opening statement that actually indicate what you want to talk about.

To be honest... if scamming via IRC and/or forums was truly illegal, as it is supposed to be, there wouldn't be a thread about scammers. There would be people banned. The end.

I realize staff doesn't want to spend time dealing with scammers, getting to the bottom of things/stories/etc. But IRC and Trading Post-based scams seem to be pretty few and far between. I mean less than one per week.

And if people were actually banned when they perpetrated these scams - I'm not talking your-user-name-is-banned-so-you-just-make-a-new-one, I'm talking accounts deleted and IPs blocked - I assure you they would dry up REAL quick.

The problem is lack of enforcement. Making a post to tell everyone how Felix scammed a crystal ball is ridiculous and embarassing. It's either bannable, or it's not. And clearly it's not.

Anyways... just my opinion... there could be a post about in-game scammers (which, again, is totally legal) as a warning to those that try to stay informed. If Blackfoot wants to moderate it, so be it. I don't care. But having a post that lists people who have been confirmed as having commited illegal, bannable scams, as a way to say "Look out for these guys, they broke the rules once without punishment so they just might do it again!" is a complete joke. Just man up and say you don't give a crap; as it stands, claiming it's illegal and then not enforcing it is simply a way to make people MORE trusting and vulnerable. You're actually making the scammer's job EASIER.

This would be true if people didn't do everything they can to evade forum ban.
Getting around IRC ban is possible too.

But I agree, the thread wouldn't otherwise be needed.

So when you deleted all my posts in the very thread which led me to make this thread (http://forum.uosecondage.com/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=12956). Was this the same reason you deleted all my posts there as well?

That's funny because I don't see any of my posts there anymore. How strange. In fact, our entire conversation isn't there anymore. Well I mean, all your posts are still there of course for the most part.

And how is this not abuse of moderator powers? I guess I can at least be grateful you obviously don't have control over Second Age discussion. Or else none of my posts would be here. In fact this would already be moved to such a place as you say.

I think its about time you jsut admit you have a man crush on me...
It explains why you tried soo hard to make everyone think you were a girl (super weird)
'OOo maybe blackfoot will finally like me!!'

Im sorry man, but I dont swing that way, even on line.

Dont worry you have managed to pull another legitimate topic down to your level and it will be sent to trash talk soon enough :P

Why do we have to keep arguing about non-topics here all the time? Don't you all have something better to do with your time than to go back and forth about something this lame? I read through this crap and i think i hate all of you....that's right i hate you guys, you wasted too much of my time. I thought this was going to be some big conversation about the legitimacy of scamming in uo and that i might get to chime in...

Turned out it was just about some stupid post having crap deleted from it....omfg.

**edited to say** : Wtf is wrong with you people?

Maybe you seem to have a crush on me Blackfoot. I don't want anything to do with you. You stalk my every posts and judge them accordingly by your will. At least here I can speak my mind without having all my posts deleted by you.

Scamming shouldn't be considered a part of UO that everyone should accept and move on with.

It is taking advantage of people because the scammer is a jerk who either has self-esteem issues in real life, or is still a teenager. If you are considered an adult in your country and still scam people in online video games, you should really take a step back and re-evaluate your life. It's gone horribly wrong somewhere and you should try to fix it.

I have not read any of the previous posts.

Scamming is part of uo.
However i would argue that using any third party product other then in game itself like IRC, and uosecongage.com to market a product with the intention of scamming is questionable.
