I kind of see both sides here. On one hand, comments like "another CUB would be devastating for the shard" really just mean "another CUB would be devastating for any rare hoarder's bank box". Which is incredibly annoying if you've had to work for most of what you have and want to catch a lucky break by getting/selling something big.nightshark wrote:Does kinda suck, being a late joiner on UOSA. It's like the vets can just sit around with their thumb up their arse and if they need any gold all they need to do is post "selling neonz i horded for 2 years, 40 mills lol, need sum more castles" while the newer players actually have to farm/play the game for ridiculous amount of hours to afford ANYTHING in the market, that is controlled entirely by vets.
It WOULD be nice to have another CuB for the benefit of those who haven't played this shard for 1-2 years, but the vets would cry foul just because they horde the items and sell them for a few mill a piece. Which is ridiculous, if the market was re-filled with these items vets wouldn't be able to get away with this shit.
On the other hand though, the whole "vets control the economy" is, guess what......ERA ACCURATE! That's just how an MMO is. The longer you've played, the more chances you've had to collect things and therefore make money off of them.
