i was left wondering the same was hoping kaivan would have explination why theirs a diffrence between taking damage or not on these types of chest. I should have been clearer. I meant that the trap still did damage standing two tiles away from the victim. I'm doing some more research on trapped items, and it looks as if trapped items went through about 4 total revisions, none of which ended up on the patch notes, but clearly happened. I'll post my findings here once I've sorted the time line out and sorted rumor from fact as best as possible.
