I'm simply going by the data statistics. There are more people on during the weekends for obvious reasons. The time to have tournaments would be when there is the most players on. It promotes better competition and greater participation. It is also ideal to do it before peak and to have them end right just before peak, since the goal for the removal of mass events was to limit them during peak hours to get more field fighting going.

Well that's just my opinion. But if you guys decide to change tournament scheduling AGAIN, I suggest making a detailed mapping of when/what event will be placed, how/IF they cycle at all...and then polling it on the forums...at least give us a chance to place some feedback.

I don't mind the idea of consecutive events on weekends, but don't nix the pvp events completely, or vice versa. Personally I dig CTF, but I know most people enjoy PvP...and if you stick all PvP events back to back to back on weekends only...it might enrage some of those people. Just food for thought.

I doubt all the other events will be removed anytime soon if ever. I'm just suggesting an idea that I think all tournaments should be simultaneously instead spread apart since it makes a lot more sense this way. It really doesn't make any sense to have more than one type of tournament a week, meaning a regular tourney and one that is freestyle pots, magic weaps, etc... should both at least happen only once a week.

This does introduce the problem for particular people that can never make it to those specific dates. It could also be possible to setup a system that generates the events weekly, but that adds the problem of people not knowing when the events occur that prefer a static system. I'm not quite sure what would be the best approach for this.

Cycle the events. Isn't there a way to just automate it so the server says: "Event Gates opening in 5 minutes..."

Once the Gates open it generates the random event from a hat. Could be CTF 20 times in a row...could be PvP. Would make things interesting.

If there was a random cycle system it would probably be better to generate it weekly for the better of both types of people. This way it would be completely random supporting people that can't do static events, and a semi-static setup for people that can make plans for the event and read it on the web site. It is obvious you can't always please everyone, but putting it in a way that supports everyone even partially usually is best.

If I didn't know ahead of time I personally wouldn't be able to do anything because of my time constraints. It has been well over a couple months since I have even been able to participate in any sort of event because of this. I probably would never be able to go if it was completely random. I'm sure that there are several others like that as well. I literally have to make plans a few days ahead of time if I decide to do an event.

10x more huh?

you must have done well in school to be able to multiply by ten

40 (amount of players there used to be on) x10 = 400 (amount of players currently) gg

There were close to 300 before the events were slimmed.

That would make it right around 3000. I was taking this number from a different point in time.

This server claims to be "t2a accurate." I don't recall any hosted events in t2a. It is just like creating trammell. Hey lets let u guys fight, but risk nothing. And what is with all this custom roads and bridges, how is this t2a accurate?

This is simply a way to bring people together. Me personally do not join the in the events but I do not disagree with them either. With low population compared to the OSI shards of T2A events can give a feeling of there being a "large" community if only for a few minutes.

Custom roads and bridges is actully "semi-accurate". There were instances of each server getting a little creative with their own world. Just kind of a way to be differant from everyone else.
