Sounds about right.

I've trained 4 chars this way:
55 - 62.9 lightning (mandrake root + sulfor ash)
63.0 - 85 e-bolt (black pearl + nightshade)
85.1 - 100 flamestrike (spider silk + sulfor ash)

I think it was around 2k lightning regs, maybe 2.5k.
4k e-bolt reg. And the last part was between 4k - 6k fs regs.

from 85.1 to gm you will use about 10-15k of EACH fs reg..

Yeah when I did it I want to say it was closer to 80-100k. But I didn't keep really good track of it.

Rough estimate:

Cost to get to GM Magery/90-92 resist = 1 small deed
90-92 resist to GM = another small deed
