Well I'm not completely up on all of it, but I know that certain grandfathered, or pre-patch, items are basically indestructible (not sure if they have to be blessed or not). That would make them more valuable. I'm assuming that is what he was asking about.

As long as we aren't talking about blessed, they wouldn't be considered pre-patch at all if they still spawn -- they're identical before and after.

"Prepatch" only applies to hues/items which no longer spawn, or blessed prior to the no-break grandfathering patch.

Thank you. That was my understanding... Prepatched items only matter if it was blessed before the patch (not if the item was prepatch)

Thats why I was confused by the question. I found a bunch of colored sandals from 08-09 in one of my banks (none super rare or anything though)
