Pretty much everything on SRS is taken out of context, sarcasm, etc. Yes there are some idiots and terrible people on Reddit, welcome to the internet/real life. The UO subreddit has over 300 subscribers. I see no reason not to promote UOSA on it. Besides, anyone that wants to promote UOSA or even bash UOSA on Reddit can do so. It doesn't really matter what your opinions are

You've completely changed the topic of the thread to how Reddit is shit. How is that not derailing Thankfully on reddit your posts would just be buried. I use Reddit for GW2 and it's undoubtedly the best place on the net to go for that type of gaming forum.

It depends on which sub-reddit you are in. The "big reddits" are full of crap, but if you get into the really niche subreddits, you find an amazing community.

With that said, I am an active reddit user and already subscribe to the UO subreddit. Anytime I hear people talk about this shard, I make sure to give it some extra loving

As long as it is advertised that its a horrible place, then that is OK. The problem is, is they are trying to promote the site as the "Front page of the Internet" and "Family Friendly" (lol).

If they want to be the high seas's no holds bar of the internet, then they will always get people like me and places like CNN, Gawker ect doing truth filled Expo-says on them. It is not a healthy environment, and shouldn't be toted as such. It is in the same category as Red tube in my opinion.

Ive never been to reddit but I cant believe what I just read. Someone defending CNN and using their own buzzwords like TRUTH and (for F sake) EXPOSAYS in the same sentence now I have seen it all and can go back to lurking for another 9 months. Enjoy your media endorsed and paid for way of thinking asshat. People like you, and the polar opposite, those that watch Fox and whatever the hell else, are why our only options for president are thing 1 and thing 2.

I have to just say I completely disagree with tekai's thoughtless posts on internet forums. I don't use reddit, but I strongly feel that allowing a user base to speak freely is very different than "promoting racism". You need to think things through, beyond the first stage of implications, before you reach a conclusion.

+1 dhalsim, except I don't necessarily hate CNN or fox news. Had to say something though, these arguments are completely absurd.
