Newbie Searching Little House Spot with Mining Possibility

Hey everybody, title says it all. I have the deed
and looking for a spot where a little house can be placed
so i can train my crafter and go mining. I was searching
around half the day and found nothing

Some of those spots may be filled now, but you could check a few out and see if there are any that would work for you. Or perhaps contact him to see if he has an updated list.

All that time you are using trying to be place a house might be better served marking runes.

I bought a mining house once, and then figured out that owning a mining house was not very useful at all. Cuz you mine out the area pretty quickly and have to waste time running back and forth from the house. The solution to this is of course using recall, but you know, if you're gonna be using recall you don't really need a mining house.

What I found to be the best stategy for mining is to mark rune to areas that have mining and public forges, or forges accessible on player houses. Recall home to dump the ingots, then head to another spot.

Boat mining is pretty effective too once you get the system down.

There's also the last entry shown in this post viewtopic.php?f=72&t=58509 which is still available - I just checked. It's a short distance from a large mountain and close to the guard zone edge. When you pass through into Britain you'll find there's a forge for smelting right next to the mountain, you can do most of the mining within the safety of the guard zone if you please.

To make sure nothing is blocking the house, hold down shift+ctrl and remove any items (reagents can be hard to notice) and creatures from the area. Note that you need one free tile all around the house spot and you yourself can block so stand back a few tiles. Ensure you place on the exact same spot as shown in the picture and it'll work. Enjoy

If your playing window is not exactly in the top left corner then it won't place properly. Move the window and then try and place.
