New patch...

For ideas on how to make Second Age a better shard. Can it get any better? Maybe.

I remember harm spamming people to death(no hally) with a poison in there.. Poison should que you that it was UOR. But, that isn't my point. I also remember harm being a distance based spell(UOr era again not sure if it changed between the two). Not my point, I remember having to mini heal through harm spams. Which wasn't tough if you stayed focus. It was a rythm game.

If they harmed during your mini heal cast, you would wait and just take the next harm and as soon as it hit begin casting mini heal and stay on that rythem. It made it so no one could kill with harm alone up close. But mini heal would damn near deplete your mana as fast as harm would before it would fill you to full health.

Plus if you got distance between you while being harm spammed. The harms did almost no dmg. But, Idk how harm works here. Pvp here has been no fun for a while now honestly. Unless in groups. so being drunk I just completely lost my point lol.

mini-heal does seem a bit weak, maybe how you guys were running it on test was the correct way.

Apparently you havent used mini heal today or last night..go test it out. Any DECENT pvper who knows what they're doing can live 1v1 until someone runs out of supplies or it goes to sudden death (tournaments). I mean two mini heals can offset an ebolt in the blink of an eye. Then when you have random spell dmgs and you're dropping ebolts that ONE mini heal can heal is absurd...

I'm guessing they up and made mini-heal strong enough to offset harm spam. Which means maybe 6-13 heal or some .

That throws off everything else. You can't have wild dmg ranges on 6th circle spells like we do here and a spammable high hp heal. Raising mini-heal doesn't work unless everything else is tweaked, easier to see in hindsight.

Mini heal is topping at 16 points healed. That is insane, there's not even a need for greater heal anymore unless you're doing a 2v2 and trying to heal a synch..

I think that the new formula for Heal is outrageous, if this goes into the live server I won't even bother with tournaments anymore. Those of you who haven't bothered to test it don't have any room to speak your opinion. Clyde and I 2v1'd some guy last night (without synch-dumps) and he could just spam mini heal over & over again and overcome everything we threw at him.

Unless you get full damage on all your spells, you won't ever be able to out-damage the heal-input value of this new formula on mini heal. A big "have fun" to all of you big tournament fans.

Sorry, but I will not filter through 10 pages in any thread for something like this...

My stance on ninja patches is no different than it was when coming to this shard. Yes, ninja patches exist. However, a ninja patch without something to back it up isn't worth while to argue. That post was about poisoning so I am assuming that it's based on the theory behind two ninja patches reverting and being added back in. A ninja patch(or should I say two ninja patches) in that sense is completely absurd without something to back it up without a doubt.

16 point mini heals do seem considerably off. Especially for the level of spell, reagent and mana cost, not to mention the short casting duration. Is it even possible to interrupt them with a melee strike?

No you cannot disrupt 1st circle spells.

This mini heal stuff is absurd. It's ridiculous seeing your life bar shoot up so fast. This is clearly not how it was (despite being coded this way in the demo).

It's funny as hell fighting dexers ATM. You seriously cannot die, because even at kryss speed, you heal 30+ dmg before they hit next.

I was saying that earlier after hearing about 16 point heals.

Something along the lines of no possible way to die a dexer unless you're trash.

Makes sense.

That was my first thought as soon as I tested the new changes.
