Re: Forensic Evaluation

Their status bar and name will turn grey if successful in your forensic evaluation. Permagrey can be also determined by trying to steal from them. I have the querry turned off so I am not sure attacking them would determine this or not, although I have read that it also can. Whether they are blue o...

Re: PvP against a thief

There's also the chests room in the warriors keep at brit west bridge with 29 trapped chests fairly close together. I GM'ed my skill out there in a few nightly sessions. Where is this? In the Order castle? Nah, don't think it's that. Basically the small keep right next to the (only) bridge leading ...

Haha, the orginal post sounds like a lead on to plug EVE online eventually. With the constant 3D this and 3D that.

And yes, EVE online rocks hard. I dare say that here.

Is this era accurate?

Do we have a discussion link on this topic?

Not claiming it isn't but never heard of that effect (armor dmg reduction) with tink traps.

Re: Forensic Evaluation

a few things...you can see who popped a lock on a chest such as in your home in or a dungeon, you can see who looted a corpse then if you had tracking can track either one of these by name. You can reveal the true identity of Disguised thieves, tell if they are thieves in the first place, and revea...

Re: Best Tank Mage Weapon in-game test.

It would be quite interesting to see this for damage over time instead of damage per hit.

But either way, very interesting stuff. Thanks for sharing.

Re: Champ Spawns

Again, Tournaments are a policy and not a mechanic. It's the staff's decision whether or not these events exist. The argument of it being era accurate isn't even valid, because it's not a mechanic replication at all. I would think not losing stats, items, weapon HP, etc in tourneys is quite a mecha...

Re: mac uo users

StoDy, did the installation process work fine for both Razor and UO client? (If not, you should see which packages are missing) And have you set the checkboxes at razor startup as described (uncheck encryption iirc)? Do you have any error logs? Alternatively, you may want to try and install 'allfont...

Re: mac uo users

I heard Mac OS X is just a linux wannabe. Is this true? yes lol... The proprietary version of Linux they are using has some good and bad things.. I view PCs as being like clay, something you can mold and do what you want with it, including screwing it up easily. Mac Linux is more of a fibreglass, y...

Re: AFK macroing timer or second down time

I personally use TeamViewer to check in on my home computer every now and then to see if the macros are still running.

I need it as Euro player to restart macros remotely after the daily server shutdown.

Give it a try, it's free and really easy to use.

Just to add to this thread, too.

Read my reply in this thread:

I got UO + Razor working on my Mac.

The only thing I'm missing is the resource counters display on the title bar. Those don't work for me, unfortunately.

Re: Mac Patch?

I'm running UO and razor from a mac myself (10.6 Snow Leopard on intel MacBook Pro). I just joined T2A and installed it a few days ago. This is what you'll need: 1) Winebottler (includes Wine) 2) this neat little guide (post #4 in the thread): http://www.uogamers.com/forum/general-discussion/218297-...

Re: Step by Step Guide to SecondAge growth with examples

Another great way to promote this site is to start a blog with your (mis-)adventures. Something along the lines of Galad and the LuTers may attract old school players. Add a twitter account to that, and you could well get a following. I might start a combination myself once I've got my evil minions ...
