Re: Are GM's on much?
Yea, I checked out Candyman's situation; looks like there actually appears to be a bug that keeps you frozen eternally :P. From what Candyman said, he logged off last night after using the help stuck option, so it sounds like there might be some particular conditions whereby you can stay frozen by l...

Re: Are GM's on much?
Hmm... have you already used the free teleport to town today? Usually that box pops up when you do the help-stuck command and you've already used the daily free teleport to town. Also, you are frozen somehow (not related to the help-stuck command?), as a ghost? And you've been frozen for two hours??...

Re: Are GM's on much?
Hey Candyman; good to see you on UOSA
Did you use the "Help" menu? That will take you to a random town within 10 minutes but during that time you are frozen. You can only use it once per 24 hours.

Re: why this server dont use age of shadows?
This shard (and its creator) has chosen as it's #1 goal the accurate emulation of the T2A era. While other eras have some nice features (and some terrible ones), the creator of this shard chose specifically to exclude pretty much everything but T2A stuff (probably because he likes T2A the best, as d...

Tales of a bazooka, Part 17: Another World Destroyed
NOTE: For the sake of a good story / role-play, I'm going to talk as if "the bazooka brothers" intended to take down Rel Por, but that certainly does not reflect my true feelings on the subject--which you can read here . If you are not aware, I became a developer and administrator on Rel P...

Re: Resisting Spells by Hiring Mages
That's just it: nothing except FS will give you gains. You need thousands and thousands of FSes, that's the only way to GM. The other spells don't help one bit.

Re: Resisting Spells by Hiring Mages
They don't cast flamestrike give you gains you need at high resist. White wyrms would probably work.
I can say that if you have a lot (10-15) of mages and you set things up right, you can get to ~85 from 30 in a few hours. I would either start FSing yourself or do a white wyrm thing to do the rest.

Re: New to the Shard
Rose's method of starting with meditation instead of resist might be a little bit faster since it gets you to 55 but its a hassle to repeatedly cast fire fields and run through them and heal when you can just afk macro instead. Personally, I'd say it's a bigger hassle to get the regs for a new pers...
